Welcome to Unite in the West Midlands.  We represent workers in all sectors of the region’s highly-varied economy, the West Midlands is the heartlands of manufacturing we also have a retired members sector and a growing Community membership sector.

The region covers West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Worcestershire, Wolverhampton, Shropshire, Stoke, Burton on Trent and Tamworth.

Each of these counties has its own characteristics and industries with a very diverse population, which we seek to serve through our network of full-time officers, organisers, branch officers, learning organisers, tutors, staff and lay activists.

We as a union are committed to campaigning and organising on the issues that matter to our members, such as decent jobs, pay, conditions, equalities, pensions and safe and healthy workplaces.  We are also involved in local community issues, organising around issues that affect our members.

We are committed to fighting against all injustices.
