If you can't find anything  in the sections above that suits you or you have other courses in mind, Unite offers a Bursary to its members of up to £500.  

Criteria are as follows:

  • The applicant must be in compliance and have one year’s continuous membership.
  • The course should be relevant to the industrial, political or economic environment  within which the union operates including the three pillars:
    • Organising
    • Political
    • International

Funding will also be granted for further and higher education in:

  • Industrial relations
  • Politics
  • Pensions
  • Equalities; and
  • Lifelong Learning
